Isan (North-EastThailand) had its glorious past and added fresh laurels in the cultural traditions of Thailand. ABOUT THE AUTHOR Adisorn Piengkes

Adisorn Piengkes was Deputy Minister in the Government of Thailand. He was member of Thai Parliament continuously for four terms. He received M.A. degree from a reputed University of Thailand. He was awarded Ph.D. and D. Litt degree from Magadh University, Bodh Gaya. He comes from North-East Thailand also known as “ Isan “. He has keen interest in traditional Thai music. He is very popular leader of Isan area.

Dr. Draupadi Singh passed M.A. examination in History from the Department of History, Magadh University, Body-Gaya. She was awarded Ph.D. degree from Magadh University Bodh-Gaya. She started her teaching career from Nalanda Mahila College, Bihar Sharif as a Lecturer. At present she is Reader and Head of Department of History, T.P.S. College, Patna.
