The book deals with the origin and evolution of castes in an unbiased manner and at the same time brings out the truths without any trepidation. Instead of sacrificing the truth at the altar of power and public taste, places it naked and bare before the reader. The subject of caste is given a holistic treatment. Perhaps this is the first of this kind.
