The Church and the World

This book is a compilation of several address and presentations made by the author. He was invited to make ethical-theological reflections at different ecumenical forums – the CNI-SBSS; the Raipur Churches Development and Relief Committee (RCDRC); the CNI-CSI-Mar Thoma communion; the CNI Diocese of Kolkata; the Roman Catholic Church’s Commission on Ecumenism; the CNI Synodical Consultation on Ministerial Formation and theological Education; D. Min. Collegiums of the senate of Serampore College; South Asia Partnership Programme (SAEPP) of the Christian Conference of Asia (CCA); Meeting of the Moral Philosopher of the roman Catholic Church; refresher; Course at Serampore College; the SCM; the YMCA and such others. Most of these ethical-theological reflections are in the form of Bible studies. Basically, they deal with issues connected with the Church and the world/society. They also affirm an active, mutual relationship between the two. This book can meaningfully used by lay persons, pastors and teachers of ethics and theology.
