This book seeks to bring to the reader’s notice, the role of the Communists who often masquerade as messiahs but in fact have other objectives in view. Wielding considerable influence at one time by now they have lost it gradually. However, they still try to make up for it by projecting themselves as larger than life and sometimes mislead the media. Tracing the origin of the movement in India the author highlights the Communist tendency to go against the mainstream. The work probes the erroneous policies of the Communists and pinpoint their faulty evaluation of the motives of different forces at work. Although this study is not an attempt to depict the contemporary scene yet some aspects have been noticed in the courses of analysis.
