The Concept of Equality in Human and Gender Rights Discourse

Dr. Rekha Roy (b. 1976) completed all her studies in Shillong, the gorgeous hill-town and educational hub of north-east India. Her graduate, postgraduate and doctoral studies, all in philosophy, were undertaken in North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong, a central university. The areas of research that interest Dr. Roy are gender and equality studies viewed from the ideological plane of feminism. Presently she is involved in a research project in this field.
