The process of teaching and learning is a two way process in which whatever is delivered by the teacher is received by the learner. It is, therefore, imperative that the teacher or the giver knows that he is giving something to a group. Besides this the teacher knows that he is to enclose his material in which units are delivered first to the learners. The teaching learning process is not a one way process. The teacher should have a capability to get feedback from the learners and he should modify his plan of delivery of the learning material. While as the teacher should know his learners as well, he should be aware about the learning material and the strategies to be adopted for the delivery of that learning material. In a way knowledge of the teaching learning process is helpful to the teachers and the learners and the results of this teaching learning process are more productive and lasting.
