ABOUT THE AUTHOR Hari Vasudevan

Hari Vasudevan completed his Ph.D. on Russian History from Cambridge University. He is currently Professor of Central Asian Studies, Academy of Third World Studies, Jamia Millia Islamia. He earlier taught European History, Russian History and International Relations at Calcutta University. He has written extensively on Russian History/Politics and international affairs.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR Mujib Alam

Mujib Alam is currently Research Associate, Academy of Third World Studies, Jamia Millia Islamia. He completed his M.A. from Aligarh Muslim University and his M.Phil and Ph.D. from the Centre fro West Asian and African Studies, JNU. He is a specialist on contemporary Turkish politics and foreign policy. He has worked with various projects concerning international relations and human rights.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR Shri Prakash

Shri Prakash is currently Professor, Academy of Third World Studies, Jamia Millia Islamia. He completed his M.Phil. at. JNU and Ph.D. from the University of Cambridge. He has worked on various peace and development issues concerning Third World countries. He has edited a number of books, the most recent of which are Towards Understanding the Kashmir Crrisis, and insights into Indian Polity, 1971-1994 (2 vols.); he has also published numerous papers in international journals and in various books on a range of contemporary issues.
