The book deals with the Lois of Manipur, classified as Scheduled Castes, withspecial reference to the socio-economic aspect of the community covering about thirty villages. Special case studies of four of the Lois-andro, Khurkhul, Phayeng and sekmai vis-?-vis the Meiteis inhabiting the valley have been made. The population distribution of manifpur.
