An aged trinket-seller thinks he has found the son of his dead employer, who owned the jewels of Samarkand. He tells the boy to go look for the maker of pictures who will lead him to the jewels but …to be beware of the House of Pigeons. The search for the jewels begin within the walls of the nineteenth century city of Delhi. But there are bigger obstacles aside from the vague clues that have come their way.
