The Quality Assurance Manual

The Quality Assurance Manual aims at an effective and efficient coordination of Engineering staff (design, architecture, tender document preparation, inviting bids from pre-qualified bidders and acceptance of the lowest and workable bid), construction site supervisory staff and the contractor(s) tradesmen and the site supervisory staff. The book suggests to perform as a cohesive team with unified focus and articulation on ‘Zero Defects’ in completion of the project(s) within the stipulated time and cost. A well-knit project team is self-motivated and understands the functional roles, responsibilities and accountability of each other and will implement the project with ‘Quest for Excellence.’ Total team must operate with highest level of professional and personal integrity to give the project owners their money’s worth, whereby there are least recurring maintenance problems. In government funded projects, completion of all projects must be as above to make the Nation proud of its engineering and contracting fraternity.
