The Sufi Alchemy of Peace

Sufi Scientist, Haji Professor Dr. Abdel Fattah Muhammad Mohsen Badawi was born in Alexandria, the second capital of Egypt, in February 1936. Having graduated from the Cairo University, Cairo, Egypt, he completed his M.Sc. Degree in Military Sciences from the Soviet Academy. Since then, he received M.Sc. degree in Applied Organic Chemistry from the Cairo University and Ph.D. in Chemistry from the Azhar University. He has also received Ph.D. i Comparative Religions from the Kensington University, Honolulu, Hawaii, U.S.A. He has occupied several prestigious positions. He served as the Director of Chemical Research at the Egyptian Armed Forces from 1959 to 1979. He has worked as the Professor at the Center of Science and Mathematics in Taif, Saudi Arabia for nine years. He has been a Visiting Professor at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, Little Rock, AR, USA (June 1985). Presently, he is working as the Professor of Applied Organic Chemistry at the Egyptian Petroleum Research Institute, Cairo, Egypt. Besides guiding students as well as scholars, he has supervised many a M.Sc. and Ph.D. thesis in Chemistry. He also contributes research papers on scientific as well as philosophical subjects to the international journals and magazines. He has participated in the October War of 1973 and was awarded the Medal of Long Service and Perfect Example of the first class 1982 by His Excellency, the Presidient of Arab Republic of Egypt. Sufi Scientist, Haji Professor Dr. Badawi is associated with the International Association of Sufism and the Golden Sudi Center in California, U.S.A. He was initiated by Sathya Sai Baba in Puttaparthi, India where he was blessed by this great master. He lives at 83 El-Hegaze Street, Heliopotis, Cairo, Egypt.

Sufi Master, Haji Professor Dr. Fida Muhammad Khan Hassnain was born in Srinagar, the capital of Kashmir, in January 1925. Having graduated from the University of Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan, he completed his post graduate studies in History and law from the Muslim University, Aligarh, India. Since then, he has received several degrees and awards from various universities and institutions of India, Japan, Switzerland, Germany and Mexico. He began his service career as a Professor in 1948 and retired as the Director of Archives, Archaelogy, Research and Museums, Jammu and Kashmir State, in 1980. He is author of about two dozen books on History, culture and mysticism. His books have been published in Poland, Spain, Italy, India and the United Kingdom. In 1960, he came into contact with a Buddhist Shaman of Tibet and since then he is associated with Sadhu, Yogis, Fakirs, Monks, Dervishes, and Sufis. He was initiated into Sufism by Hazrat Hayat Boumann, a pious lady mystic belonging to the Sufi Order of Pir-o-Murshid Hazrat Inayat Khan of Delhi. Aftr having completed various Chillas and Sufi practices under the guidance of Murshid Abubabaji of Oatacumund, India, he was further groomed by Sheikh Muzaffar Ozak Al-Jerrahi of Istanbul, Turkey. Sufi Master Haji Professor Dr. Hassnain is associated with teh Occult Foundation of India, Calcutta, OISCA-International, Tokyo, Sri Aurobindo Ashram, New Delhi. World Congress of Faiths, London, Centre for Yoga Research, Pondicherry, Ancient Astronaut Society Ilinois, Temple of Understanding New York, Vishwa Unnyayan Samsad New Delhi, Realpa Ashram Bodhi Sangham Parrano, World Association for Dynamic Psychiatry Berlin and Hazrat nayat Khan Sufi Center, New Delhi. He has visited several countries of Asia and Europe including Bulgaria, Russia, Germany, Australia, Japan, Figiand, Scottland and Malaysia. He is a spiritual healer and conducts Sufi Therapy workshops in several Dynamic Psychiatric Hospitals in Germany. He lives at Dastgir Villa, Parray Pora, Sanat Nagar, Srinagar, Kashmir, India.
