This is India, that is Bharat consists of nine chapters. The first chapter "Bureaucracy the brave from Cradle to the grave traces the Historical evolution of Bureaucracy. The Laments of Law and order’ reveals the anguish and agony of law and order with repentance and reform. ‘The Corruption thy name is Governance" deploves corruption in public life and explores panacea to encounter the poison. The chapter i.e. Blunders of Business and Thunders of Thirteen speak about the functioning and fale of Govt. in India from the end of least decade of 20th century to the beginning of 21st century till the return to the beginning of 21st century till the return of Saturnian power in 2004. "Return of Saturn" is a parody based on Greek. Mythology of prometheres." Wonder of stratgem is mired of Monget. The eight and ninth chapters are based on India and Greek mythology respectively. The "Judgement Day" takes us, to our glorious and ancient Bharat while "The Musical Murder of Mercury takes our immortal spicing from Earth to heaven and hell for retribution and redemption. Both have been presented to the readers for enlightment and entertainment in the for of poetic drama in rhymed verse, that is my deliberate decision. In fact, what I believe, Rhyme is a poise of mind and spirit. If matter is poetry is spontaneous overflow of imagination, then rhyme in its manner is a dam of intuition built and embellished my words of reason to fashion fit the instinct and emotion so as to have are cosmic purpose, goal and direction and make are source and garmented life sweet and harmonious.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR Shiv Shankar
The poet, prose writer, and dramatist, Shiv Shanker was born in 1937 at village Aunka in jaunpur district of U.P. He composed his first poem “Madhumas†In Hindi at the age of 14 years. He passed his B.A. in 1957, and he joined M.A. classes in Allahabad University in 1958. On second Jan. 1960, he joined the Govt. of India service in India Audit and Accounts department. While in service, he passed I.C.W.A. examination of the Institute of Cost and Work Accountants of Infia, Calcutta in 1969 and S.A.S. examination of Idian Audit and Accounts Dept. in 1971. During the first decade of his public service he published his first collection of Hindi poems “Rushmi Prakash†in 1964. he also wrote “God –Gita Governmentâ€. During the last decade of his public service, he completed his “Epistles to Imperial Dons†and set up a society known as Lok Mangal Sansthan in 1992, under whose banner he wrote progusely on the subjects of political recruitments, electioneering, coronation, oath taking ceremony, cabinet formation, political organization and governance. During the decade from 1995 to 2005, he wrote “This is India, that is Bharat’, a copy of whose manuscript was sent to Congress president Sonia Gandhi in 2004 for guidance in governance. His other projects under pipeline are: (i) The Sojarn of Soul (Poems on Love, man, nature, God); (ii) welfare wins (a) Drama on democratic wars); (iii) Justice on Trial (a Drama on Functioning of Judician); (iV) Poetic Justice in Elizabeth Age (Prose); (v) Prose Writings in Hindi)
