Existentialism is an elusive notion, escaping all definitions. It is surrounded by a certain amount of confusion, and ambiguity, since it includes widely disparate philosophers. Besides, the term got so much vulgarized to the level of a fad that it gets applied to any type of activities and peoples. It is not a system of philosophy, rather a way of philosophizing. The existentialist philosophers and writers try to analyze and understand the basic structures of human existence as thrown into the world from the weltanschauungen of human existence.
