Toxics A to Z–A Guide to Everyday Pollution Hazards

This book originated with the conviction that people need reliable and easily understandable information about the most frequently encountered toxic dangers; where such dangers are most likely to be found; how to recognize them and the symptoms that exposure to them can cause; and above all, how chronic and acute exposure can be reduced or avoided altogether. We provide information on over 100 of the most common and potentially hazardous toxics in our environment. The format is designed for the lay person who feels confused about the potential dangers posed by eating, drinking, and breathing and by using everyday consumer products.
