ABOUT THE AUTHOR Nivedia Singh

Born in 1969 Dr. Nivedita Singh is an accomplished classical vocalist. She has combined her concert career with her academic pursuits in music. Having an excellent academic career Dr. Singh obtained her Masters degree in Music with first class first from Punjabi University, Patiala and, her research degrees of M.Phil and Ph.D. from Delhi University. She has to her credit several research papers and articles dealing with different aspects of music. Currently she is teaching music at Punjabi University, Patiala.
