Truancy: A Sociological Study

This book is an attempt to delve into one of the problems faced by the teaching faculty at the school level. There is a tendency to brand the truant student as an incorrigible delinquent. This may be due to lack of proper under-standing. This study shows that there are various factors such as heredity and environment that make a person or breaks a person. A genuine under-standing of a truant helps to love the person as he is without condemning him.
