U.S. Diplomacy in Israel-Palestine Conflict

The volume is on the US’ long history of intervention in the Israel-Palestine conflict. It describes how it has donned the robe of a peacemaker, though a biased one in favour of Israel. It scrutinises US’ involvement in the region to provide an analysis of the US role n the region from 1967 to the present. Covering the eras under the US presidents, Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan and Bill Clinton and Obama, it discusses the accords reached in the West Asian region (such as the Camp Davis accords between Israel and Egypt in 1978) and Palestinian politics in a historical framework. It deals with its failures as in bringing about an agreement between the Israel on the one hand and the Palestinians and Syria on the other. The publication includes the text of numerous documents including UN Resolutions, the Camp David Accords and Oslo Accords, and speeches by the American presidents.
