Covering the eras under the US presidents, Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan and Bill Clinton and Obama, it discusses the accords reached in the West Asian region (such as the Camp Davis accords between Israel and Egypt in 1978) and Palestinian politics in a historical framework. It deals with its failures as in bringing about an agreement between the Israel on the one hand and the Palestinians and Syria on the other.
