ABOUT THE AUTHOR Yogi Harinam Baba Prem Tom Beal

Yogi Harinam Baba Prem Tom Beal (b. 1960) is a classically trained teacher in the traditional Gurukula system. He is one of the few westerneers to receive the title of Vedakovid through the traditional system. He has studied Ayurveda, Jyotish (Vedic Astrology), Sanskrit, Vedanta, Jnana Yoga, and the Vedas. He has also studied Karma, Bhakti, Hatha, Raja, and the Vedas. He has also studied Karma, Bhakti, Hatha, Raja, and especially the Kundalini Yoga systems. He is trained as a Vedic Yoga teacher, and is well versed in Vedic chanting. In 1989 and 1991 he was declared a master of Naad and Shakti Yoga. His Vedic Teacher is Pandit Vamadeva Shastri (Dr David Frawley), and his Guru is Mahaavatar Babaji. He has authored 8 books and produced numerous CDs introducing the western world to the richness of the Vedic teachings.
