From the Preface : A critical appraisal of the United Nations and the economic parameters of the emergent global problems and perceptions, constitute the cornerstone of the materials brought together in the present publication in the form of articles, papers, excerpts, discussion notes and reviews, including extracts from policy documents. The focus is sought to be achieved in terms of constructive perceptions of global phenomena and conflict sources, to enable the reader to acquire insights into approaches to problem solving in international relations and inter-state conflicts.
