ABOUT THE AUTHOR Devi Akella

Devi Akella is Visiting Faculty in the areas of Organizational Behaviour and Human Resource Management at the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi. She was earlier Assistant Professor in the Organizational Behaviour Area at the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode. She completed her MBA in 1997 from Leeds University Business School and was awarded a Ph.D. in Organizational Behaviour in 2001 from the University of Leeds. Dr. Akella’s areas of interest include the learning organization, critical theory, qualitative methodology, power and control discourses, professionalism, accounting, and organizational change and development.
