US National Missile Defense Strategy: Policy Documents

The theme in this work has deep bearing on the new developments in nuclear research which links with the war strategy at the international level. The involvements of the USA, indeed a super power, is a significant phenomena in this regard. Undoubtedly the U. S. national missile defence is a highly ambitious and expensive ‘star war’ peace offensive which has been designed as a long time defense strategy. Its successful operation in Persian Gulf and Afghanistan is the subject very often discussed in the White House. The author has arranged the U. S. policy documents in a meticulous way explaining Soviet intervention in Afghanistan and its results after a span of few years. He has also explained missile development programme in North Korea and Pakistan. The work indeed would be useful for teachers with scientific temperament, scholars and students in India and abroad.
