The treatises entered herein, which delve into the deeper aspects of Man’s esoteric experiences are indeed brand new and may appear at first glance to be even revolutionary in nature. Never in the history of Religious evolution have such insights been revealed to the World’s people. For perhaps the first time, actual spiritual progress can be scientifically measured, for as one advances along this path, the degree of spiritual growth can finally be calibrated against known yard sticks. Such a revolutionary concept is one of the central themes of this historically significant and illuminating text. In many ways this book is revolutionary as it challenges the very core of conventional religious practice and the widely accepted Scriptural interpretations. As such, read and re-read this book with an open mind and with due deliberation, patience and a measure of forbearance.
Passive and Inert meditative processes have existed for the last several centuries, but here Vibratory and Dynamic demonstrative experiences, as corroborated by the Scriptures, are recorded it is this Active and Vibratory process of Bagthi and its lively experiences, that are a regular feature of the Vibrant Celestial Meditation practitioners of the World Spiritual Foundation. The true and genuine technique of Simran/Bhagti expounded is so simple, Natural, Effortless and Spontaneous that it almost defies acceptability. A significant point that stands out is that this Bhagti is carried out all the way not by the will and volition of the Meditator, but that it is done for the aspirant by the Divine Himself, through the vehicle of the inspiration of his Soul and ultimately through the Human Body.
Thus it becomes automatically a Worship that is truly acceptable to the Creator Himself. The reader will henceforth receive a new and deeper understanding of the Scriptures, and in fact this may become the most significant turning point in his/her life.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR Bhai Kirpal Singh Ji Gill
Bhai Sahib Kirpal Singh Ji's birth in Malaysia on 16 January 1921 carries with it a strange and significant history. His entry into the world was predicted over a year in advance by the blessing of a mysterious Indian mystic, who divulged to the parents that this Soul in a previous life-time, having achieved God-realisation after practicing rigorous Meditation amongst the snowy Himalayan peaks, and while descending down the mountain paths to share his spiritual knowledge with masses below, perished on the way. This realized Soul the mystic Saint said was desirous totake birth again to complete his earthly mission. The mystic also mentioned that certain momentous happenings would take place when he addresses aspirants on the Spiritual path, during his 4 trips around the world, before the demise of the would-be mother. These have already taken place precisely as predicted. He also specified that he would eventually rise to even higher Divine heights to take a pre-eminent place amongst the World's leading Spiritual Luminaries. There is a cryptic passage in the Scriptures which says, "Gur Saakhi Joet Pragat Hoaey" meaning "By a Guru becoming a Witness the bedimmed Light is brightly lit and awakened. In other words, a glowing Light can in turn light up all other bedimmed Lights. Bhai Sahib Kirpal Singh Ji Gill is one such person, in whose presence dedicated devotees of the Divine, can begin to feel such an euphoric awakening. He presently insists that a true Guide should go to great lengths to ensure that the sublime cosmic life force, the Holy Spirit, the NAAM, which normally rests resplendent in all people, should become fully awakened resulting in a wide range of Holy reactions, some euphoric and ecstatic and others of a cathartic purging nature, which therefore may appear temporarily unpleasant and unsavory. Such occurrences take place while we are in the process of being cleansed of the dross, much of it deposited within our Beings from past generations. This results very soon as an impregnated manifestation of a Guru/Cheillaah relationship within our awakened self, described very enigmatically in the Scriptures as, "Shabad Guru Surat Dhun Cheillaah". Once this has taken root within the sanctity of our Being , then we require no external Master anymore to guide us, except to check up with the Initiator, on rare occasions, any intricate matter of higher spiritual significance. Such an exalted state is the Self-realisation that many talk about but few ever achieve. A whole Chapter is devoted to unraveling the significance of the above exalted quotation. Although he has been hailed both in the West and in the East as a personage with a rare spiritual eminence, he does not claim for himself any high station but prefers to go about sharing his experiences as any ordinary human with minimal fanfare. He is affectionately known simply as "Sri Bhai Sahip" meaning Honorable Brother, because he does not allow himself to be called a Sant (Saint) or a Master. He is presently President of the World Spiritual Foundation, the European Institute of Sikh Studies based in London and of the Malaysia Inter-Religious Institute based in Kuala Lumpur.
