Violence Against Women

This book is planned to be a reference book for femininity specialists in the projected area policy planners post graduate students of womens studies and social work control and the common public interested on women’s issues. The chapters in this book present an overview of the problems suffered by other women in India. The discussion is not comprehensive as every concern is a level by itself. Though some of the issues are common to all women irrespective of caste and socio economic position by and huge the orientation is to the socially backward and economically oppressed women. The aim of this book is to incite discussion and debate on pertinent topics relating to women so that public opinions is molded to appreciate the necessity for gender just policies. It is hoped the book will be well received. This book details federal concerns and possible solutions to the widespread problem of the perpetration of violence on women.
