Manu Kant, born on March 18, 1965 at Patiala (India) is a Freelance Journalist. He had done his post-graduation in Journalism from the then world- famous Faculty of Journalism of the Moscow State University, Moscow, USSR (now Russia) where he had spent seven years from 1987 to 1993 and which he had visited again in 1995. His articles in this publication, mostly on the developments in the USSR of Gorbachev years and some on Yeltsin and Putin’ Russia, have been published in various newspapers and magazines such as Frontier, National Herald, The Tribune, The Indian Express. At present he runs and edits the popular internet based magazine, ‘freeIndiamedia. Com’ which covers, most of the vital issues affecting the people in general and the exploited and oppressed ones in particular in India and the other South- Asian countries besides, the developments in Russia and America
