This small book deals with the big question of tribal development from a new perspective. A lot has been written on the issue by planners, social scientists, economists, social workers, etc. But the unique approach of this book is the amalgamation of anthropological, journalistic and activist approaches to the issue. The fallacy of government claims has been laid threadbare on the basis of the claims of the government and the fact-sheet, again provided by the state.
