The present work entitled "the Wonders of Mughal India" an attempt has been made to light the Mughal India – Historical and factual tracing of description, regarding founder and rulers of Mughal period of India. It is a fact of immense significance that whereas in the Tracing medieval India’s Mughal period History, since the conquest of Babur played the role of a powerful effective but mostly external factor in the East the expansion of Mughal rule went for more than two and half centuries became so intimate that as a result, we find, an Indo-Islamic pattern of society and culture. We have an entire literature which deals with the "birth of Mughal India" in the later medieval period. It is observed as a wonder that the Islamic invaders minority in number defeated the majority of the people, established and ruled over India for more than approximately two hundred and fifty years.

The present volume is the first of a projected series since Babur to Aurangzeb, later Mughal rulers and causes for disintegration and downfall of Mughal empire.

Indeed, this volume is dealt beginning from Babur as founder of Mughal empire and his achievements and contribution to make established Mughal dynasty. The Mughal India Since 1526 AD, is the coming of mughals from Babur to Aurangzeb and the rulers of Later Mughals are dealt in wonders of Mughal India.

The rulers of Mughal period acted, establish and introduced the various factors and practices, which are described critically and evaluated their achievements.

The present volume is an elaborate, innovative and in lucid manner, certainly it fascinates the general readers, students and history-lovers.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR Kamal Shankar Srivastava

Dr. Kamal Shankar Srivastava born in Varanasi (U.P.), India, an Eminent Scholar, Young Indologist, Museologist, Journalist, Art-Historian and Academician turned Administrator Joined Bihar Administrative Service in 1984, Obtained the Post-Graduate degrees (M.A.s) in seven different disciplines: (i) Ancient Indian History, Culture and Archaeology (ii) History (iii) Museology (iv) English Literature (v) Mass Communication (vi) Public Administration and (vii) Sociology.  Awarded B.H.U. Gold Medal in 1981, in 1985, Awarded Ph.D degree in AIHC and Archaeology-Museology from BHU, Varanasi.  He also obtained the Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication (BJMC), and Post-Graduate Diplomas in four different disciplines i.e. Business Administration, Tourism Administration, Human Rights Law and Environmental Management.  In 2002 awarded Doctor of Literature (D.Litt.) degree in history followed by Degree of LL.B.  Author of more than 37 books concerning different field of Indian History, Art, Religion and Culture, Iconography, Museology, Tourism, Journalism, Painting, Indology and Heritage etc.  Life Fellow of numismatics society of India, Museums Association of India, Bihar Puravid Parishad, Patna, Indian Social Science Academy and Executive Member of Baudh Sanskriti Kendra, Patna, Presented several papers and articles in the field of At, indology and Museology.  At present, he is in Jharkhand Administrative Service.
