This book is aimed at helping students acquire proficiency in writing good English —not just grammatically correct, but aesthetically appealing too. A lot of space has been devoted to teaching aspiring young boys and girls the art of sentence construction, the use of propositions, popular phrases, other idiomatic expressions and figures of speech that embellish language. Towards this very end, the Author has given quite a good number of maxims and epigrams, and model passages of prose and poetry from the out performing of gifted writers such as Shakespeare, Milton, Wordsworth, Mathew Arnold, Tagore, Jawaharlala Nehru, Bertrand Russell, V.S. Naipaul, G.B. Shaw and Many other literary Stalwarts. In a nutshell one may say that this book is really about the power and beauty of words and their scintillating usage.
