ABOUT THE AUTHOR Amiteshwar Ratra

Amiteshwar Ratra is Consultant in the Department of Women's Education, School of Continuing Education, Indira Gandhi National Open University, Maidan Garhi at New Delhi. She had formal Schooling in a convent school in Delhi, received her bachelor's degree from the University of Delhi, her master's degree from the Kurukshetra University at Kurukshetra, and her doctorate from the Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University at Hisar. She got ICAR Senior Research Fellowship for doing her Ph.D. and at master's she stood first with distinction in the University. Her career span is yet of few years in which she has guided several M.Sc. students. She has made contributions in several books and published research papers in reputed journals. She has attended various national and international conferences and seminars and presented many research papers.
