For historical research basic source material plays a significant role. In this respect chronologies and bibliographies are basic requirements for undertaking a research work. The present basic source material arranged in a chronological order reflects role of Muslim youth in the Pakistan Movement. It also includes material on women participation in the Freedom Movement. It is a useful archival material for researchers working on the great struggle for Pakistan. It has been divided into four parts. Part I contains a brief historical account which covers history of the youth’s movement. Part II is a year-wise chronology of youth activities from 1941 to 1947. Part III relates to the women activities of the same period. Part IV deals with excerpts of the Quaid’s speeches to students between 1934-1948.
