INTACH-Hampi-Anegundi Chapter
The Hampi Worid Heritage Site, in the northern state of Karnataka, India, is known the world over for its archaeological grandeur, dramatic natural landscape and rich biodiversity. Its rocky hills, scrub jungle, mighty Tungabhadra river, lakes, irrigation canals and fertile farmlands are home to more than 230 species of resident and migratory birds – making it a great birding destination.
