ONGC Bulletin has been in circulation for many years now. Initially it was a well received journal particularly in seventies and eighties. The desire of the geoscientists to publish in ONGC Bulletin probably took a back seat in nineties and during current times owing to the existence of various geoscientific associations related to hydrocarbon sector where publication is received with extra reward of participation in the conferences and symposia.
