On the Ganga Facts Less Known

Sh Tapobrata Sanyal (b.28 April 1940 at Krishnagar, West Bengal) hails from an intellectual lineage. An internationally known geotechnical engineer and river-expert, Sh Sanyal’s interest is not confined to professional activities only. He is well known as a critic and essayist in Bengali and has authored seven books in Bengali so far, His Bengali treatise on the Ganga (Ganga-Tattva O Tathya) is a pioneering work.
