Indian economy has undergone a dynamic and multiple change specially after the independence. We have adopted economic planning for the development of the country since 1951. The different sectors of the economy has developed under different plans to attain the balanced regional development. It has enlarged the economy to deal with different problems namely eradication of poverty, to reduce unemployment to reduce in equalities of income and wealth. The different sectors of the economy are contributing to national income and it has increased the national output, employment and per capita income as well. This book provides an eye view on the different sectors of the economy. It will be useful to teachers, students, general readers and policy makers.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR C.M. Chaudhary
Dr. C.M. Chaudhary did his B.A. Hons. (Eco.), M.A. (Eco.), M.Phil and Ph.D from the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. He is the Gold Medalist in M.Com. and first class first in P.G. Diploma in Labour Laws, Labour Welfare and Personnel management from the J.N.V. University, Jodhpur.He had served as a lecturer in commerce, J.N.V. University, Jodhpur during 1972-74 and Lecturer in EAFM College Education, Govt. of Rajasthan during 1974-87 and thereafter served the university Deptt. of EAFM, Jaipur as Professor during 1987-2004. He has been associated with various schools of management studies.He participated and presented papers in 17 National and International seminars and conferences. He has contributed more than 6 dozen articles/papers in national and international journals. His area of specialization is General Economics, Labour Economics, Monetary Theory and Public Enterprises. He has written several books on Economics, Commerce and Management. He is life member of several academic bodies and on the board of studies in commerce and management in state universities.
