Characteristics of Agricultural Productivity

Ugra Mohan Jha after obtaining his M.A. degree in first class first position joined as Lecturer in University Dept. of Rural Economics & Co-operation, Bhagalpur University in 1970 and since then he has been continuing as reader, professor& Head. He got his Ph.D. degree in 1980 and supervising several Ph.D. projects. He has about a dozen, research papers published in reputed journals. He is the author of book, “Irrigation and Agricultural Development” published in 1984. He has also written two university level textbooks. He was awarded a research Project entitled “Economic Rehabilitation of Post-riot weaver Victims of Bhagalpur.” Recently (in March, 1996) he has been appointed as Director, Agro-economic research Centre for Bihar, T.M. Bhagalpur University.
