This book attempts to analyze the role of some psychological variables such as work stress, coping and health in commitment level of employees working in North Eastern Railways belonging to different levels of job hierarchy and job tenure. Examining the linkages between psychological correlates and organizational commitment, it takes a close look at the buffering role of coping in the work stress-health-commitment relationship. Also, it studies the impact of job hierarchy and job tenure on organizational commitment of railway personnel.
