ABOUT THE AUTHOR K.K. Kusuman

Dr. K.K. Kusuman (b.1943) is Reader in History in the University of Kerala. His other publications are History of trade and Commerce in Travancore, stavery in Travancore, the Abstention Movement , The Extremist Movement in kerala and English Trade in Travancore. He has written a book in Malayalam-Kerala charithra Padhanangal. Dr. Kusuman is the recipient of Dr. K.P. Panikkar Shashtyabdapoorthi Memorial Award for the best dissertation on Kerala history in 1976.
