Dr. Surendra Lal Das, Reader & Prof.-incharge in B.M. College, Rahika under L.N. Mithila University, Darbhanga, took his B.A. (Hons.) in 1970, M.A. in1972 from Bihar University, Muzafferpur & Ph.-D. in 1989 from L.N. Mithila University, Darbhanga. He has been attending regional and National seminar's on Indian History Congress since a long. He has participated in Social Services in different Capacities. The Present work is his doctoral thesis which was recommended fro publications by some Scholar's and Collegious. Plethora of books have been written on Gandhi depicting the humerous aspects of his life and thoughts but the contribution of Dr. Das is sure to do immensible good to the students on Gandhian Studies.
