This is very crucial question because the answer to this question will decide whether the curriculum is effective or ineffective to achieve this national ideal. In the present book the answer to this crucial question is being traced. Besides, the empirical findings the book provides a sound conceptual background of secularism and secular values and has operationalized them in Indian context. It has also tried to present the relevance of secular values for a religions pluralist society like ours in an objective way.
