Prof. Valentina Chernovskaya is Orientalist, Doctor of History, Professor at International Institute of Economy and Law, Yaaroslavl, Russia. Educated at Yaroslaval and Moscow Universities, she has played a pioneering role in promoting the study of Indian entrepreneurship for almost two decades. She is the author of two books and a large number of papers published in national professional journals and abroad. She was Fellow of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Institute of Asian Studies, Kolkata.
