The men of letters, philosophers and metaphysians may find in the book less erudite reading material but, to a general reader there is enough of in-formation to initiate him into the subject. However, for more knowledge of any particular religion, recourse may be had to works that have a larger and deeper perspective, authored by scholars with special knowledge of the subject. Nevertheless, for a layman the book offers plenty to imbibe.
