Part six critically analyses the various problems encounter by women in Life Insurance Corporation of Tirunelveli Division and the Last part summaries the findings and gives recommendations and suggestions.

Dr. (Mrs.) J. Nirmala, M.A., B.Ed., M.Phil., Ph.D., Reader in Economics having 19 years of teaching experience for both UG and PG. She has 17 years of Research experience and produced several M.Phil candidates. To her credit she attended several International National, State level and Regional Seminars and conferences and presented papers. Her research interests are women related studies.

Dr. Dhulasi Birundha Varadarajan, M.A., M.Phil, M.B.A., M.C.A., Ph.D., aged 51, is the Professor and Head of Department off Environmental Economics, Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai, had 23 years of teaching and research experience at university level. She had published six books o energy and environment, 61 research papers in journals and edited books, presented 173 papers in national and international conferences and recipient of UGC Post Doctoral fellowship. She had visited Japan, Netherlands, Malaysia, Singapore, France, Belgium and Spain to present papers in international forum. To her credit, she guided 47 M.Phil, scholars and 5 Ph.Ds. Her areas of specialization are Energy, Environment and Women studies.
