Advanced Learner’s Dictionary of Psychology

Psychology is the scientific study of all forms of human and animal behaviour, some times concerned with the methods through which behaviour can be modified. This Advanced Learner’s Dictionary of Zoology is basically designed for students and teachers as well. It is the result of a careful analysis of the needs of advanced level students and should prove an invaluable aid in their day-to-day learning. As it is extremely difficult to limit the contents of such a dictionary at ‘Advanced’ level standard, many headwords are included that are above this level and that may be interest to Advanced learners. A few headwords that are not strictly scientific are also included because of their common usage in everyday scientific terminology. It has been our aim to provide explanations that are easily understood, whilst maintaining academic standards.
