ABOUT THE AUTHOR Jagdish Vachani

Jagdish Vachani (b. 1944) holds a Master's degree in Engineering from the IIT, Kanpur. He has worked in the Gulf (Bahrain, Muscat), the USA and Tanzania. He has also headed the Information Applications and MIS departments of two multinational companies in Jakarta and Manila. For the past eight years he has been on the Consultants Panel of two national federations of trade and commerce associations. He has several papers and publications to his credit, including the critically acclaimed Information Technology Application: Problems and Prospects.
