Women Education and Development

It is very clear that in India women are performing an lion’s share in the growth and development of the nation. If a larger part remains untouched in education, health and socio-economic development, the development of the nation cannot be turned in a progressive manner. A society can be taken as an ideal society if we acknowledge the strength of women in the light of development. If a large chunk remains untouchable, the economic development will be in a regressive manner. In a welfare state like India one can undoubtedly say that education played a vital role in the present juncture of development in India. They contribute half in population and also have their 1/3 share in the revenue of the country. But they are only 1 per cent owner in the entire property of the country. In spite of this and after six decades of independence we are still in stagnant in education. A mother who is the first teacher of the child and who manages the home is now not regarded in the progress of the state. In the light of this, the women education is very secret in the success of every respect of the country.
