The key to success in any field is dynamic management and this principle holds true for libraries whose functions today have dramatically changed. In the modern age with information explosion and the growth in the range of services being offered by libraries, library management is vital in providing service. Fast changing computer technology and the increasing manufacture of sophisticated computers during last few decades have undoubtedly changed the entire concept of library management. Digital libraries have various methods and technologies to preserve and use the book, namely, acquisition, classification, cataloguing, accessioning etc. These are treated as library technical activities. This study highlights some crucial and vital issues of new trends of library management in present day context.
