This study examines the role of Tamil Nadu Government in the process of development of poor women through Self-Help Groups (SHGs). Evaluating the capability of women through their economic activities, it studies the interface between DRDA and SHG. Also, it tries to find out the elements of sustainability of SHG Entrepreneurship.
