ABOUT THE AUTHOR Majid Rafizadeh

Harvard-educated, Dr. Majid Rafizadeh is an Iranian-American political scientist and president of the International American Council on the Middle East. He serves on the board of Harvard International Review of Harvard International Relations Council. Dr. Rafizadeh is frequently called upon to brief US, EU, and Asian officials, and parliaments about US foreign policy and Middle Eastern affairs. He regularly appears on national and international outlets, including CNN, BBC TV and radio, France 24, ABC, Al Jazeera, and NBC. He has earned a PhD in government and international affairs, a masters in global and international studies, in communication and journalism, and a bachelors degree in linguistics.
