In the present educational scenario, residential educational system, though gained fast momentum, has lost sight of its objectives. So there is a great responsibility on the state to provide congenial environment to the inmates. This present study throws light on residential schools run by the state Government of Andhra Pradesh to provide qualitative education to the children of socially and economically backward communities. This study concentrated mainly on the adjustment problems in relation to social integration and achievement of the students of residential schools. This book can be highly useful to research scholars, principles, administrators and teachers of residential schools to understand the intrinsic problems of the students.
