A Sinhalese-English Dictionary

The present dictionary is designed to meet the long, felt need of the English knowing reader who is interested in the study of classical as well as modern Sinhalese. Rev, T. Moscrop’s dictionary is based on the Claugh dictionary and gives English equivalents of Sinhalese words both the simple and the more difficult versions which would satisfy both the layman and the purist. It also renders explanation of important technical terms occurring in different branches of learning.
