As advisor to the Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Mohandas Moses was inspired by the Kashmiri poet Kalhana’s Rajatarangini and began writing a book on Jammu-Kashmir-Ladakh titled Rajatarangini Revisited on the past and present of the troubled state.
